Neugal Cafe

Excellent location and food. Almost everything is good. We were 4 of us and ordered beers, french fries, peanut masala, paneer pakora, crispy corn, dal makhani, veg pulao and something non-vegetarian. The beers were not ice cold and crispy corn was like corn masala. The paneer pakora were super.

Good food. Government facility. The hotel is a little old but good for overnight stay.

Neugal Cafe is one of the iconic tourist spots of Palampur. The cafe is managed by HP Tourism. It is still well maintained to a decent extent . However ,construction in the area has spoilt the scenic beauty it was once popular for . Good food , nice ambiance especially in the evenings. Beware of monkeys .

This is owned by HTPDC and situated in Palampur town. This place commands the beautiful view of mountains and dhauldaar ranges. This cafe has 4 room set cozy stay options as well adjacent to cafe itself. It’s very kids friendly and has a very small stream of river where kids enjoy boating and rafting. This is well maintained , beautiful and peaceful property. It has a small Bar House also. Open area dinning options is also available here and alcohol can be served at your table. One can enjoy variety of veg and non veg food items here. Famous Trout fish can be served on advance order here. Food is fresh and delicious. Weekend is mostly full here so plan accordingly as guests and well as local visitors visits this for lunch and dinning. Staff is very polite and quick in servicing. Plenty of free parking space is available.
